LMNO
LMNO
LMNO is a series of silent staged video portraits developed in response to a historical collection of faience and ceramics. Shot across multiple sites in Montpellier, the work constructs female-coded figures through costume, gesture, makeup, props, and décor.
The title evokes the alphabet as a broken vocal exercise: letters displaced, withheld, or silently performed. Language is still present, but blocked, stylized, and redistributed through posture, facial expression, and relations between bodies and objects.
Ceramic objects shift from heritage artifact to accessory, fetish, mask, and counter-image. Moving between portrait, masquerade, and camp, the series treats femininity as performance and faience as a charged surface where taste, class, ornament, and violence remain entangled.
