Footnoting & Post-Scripting
Footnoting & Post-Scripting
This residency took place at Salzburger Kunstverein, within the International Artist-in-Residence Program, with mobility support from the Goethe-Institut.
The stay was oriented toward research and functioned as a working interval for thinking through footnotes and post-script as methods for reopening historical narratives.
During this period, a series of texts were developed. Post-script emerged as a strategy for reclaiming historical traces: refusing closure, re-entering unfinished archives, and insisting on continuity beyond institutional validation.
This inquiry was shared publicly through Footnoting and Post-Scripting, a conversation with Tristan Bera, with curatorial input from Mirela Baciak.

The residency also included regular exchanges with Matilda Cherednichenko, who had recently arrived from Ukraine amid escalating political tensions, as well as encounters with Thaddaeus Ropac and his team, and exchanges with Vasilis Papageorgiou during his exhibition at Salzburger Kunstverein.
