Le Sextant is a duo exhibition by Vir Andres Hera and Sabine Teyssonneyre, presented at FRAC Occitanie Montpellier.
Litanie des villes forms the central axis of the exhibition: a long inventory of numbered tubes that gathers fragments, residues, and traces of urban life into a serial structure and fractured poem. Other works unfold around this system, including Use a sextant, a suspended costume composed of aluminium, survival blanket, sculptural elements, and slide projection.
Moving between city, body, and storage, the exhibition approaches matter as document, relic, and apparition, as if collected from the scattered remains of a speculative or ruined urban world.
