N/A – Non Attribué
N/A – Non Attribué
The atelier des artistes en exil hosted the exhibition N/A – non attribué, curated by Mona Young-eun Kim. Bringing together podcasts, performances, photographs, installations, drawings, and videos, the exhibition explored shifting, hybrid, and unattributed identities through the practices of artists from diverse geographical and cultural contexts.
For this occasion, Vir Andres Hera presented Blue bleu, 2014, as an installation, revisiting the an intimate portrait made in 2012 of a queer immigrant friend. Shown in this expanded form, the work foregrounds vulnerability, proximity, and care, engaging questions of identity beyond fixed categories and authorship. Within the context of N/A – non attribué, the piece resonated with the exhibition’s attention to lives and narratives that resist attribution, stability, or singular definition.
