Meeting Points is a research residency in Martinique organized by Cassandre Langlois and Marianna De Marzi, bringing together Minia Biabiany, Gaëlle Choisne, Ketly Noël and Vir Andres Hera. The residency unfolded through conversations, workshops and movements across the island.

Fort-de-France hillside landscape.
The research followed historical and symbolic relations between Afro-Indigenous presences in the Caribbean and the American continent. A workshop at École de la Batelière with school children explored these connections through storytelling, migration histories and the circulation of narratives between islands and mainland territories.
Time spent at the house of artist Arthur Francietta led to the writing of the text Sylvestre, inspired by an anecdote shared by his mother and reflecting on naming, memory and the layered genealogies of the island.

The residency concluded with the performative lecture La Facultad, presented at the Campus Caribéen des Arts with Minia Biabiany and Gaëlle Choisne.
